Parkston, South Dakota
Something about this quiet little town in the middle of South Dakota still stands out in my memories of my Vermont-to-Oregon motorbike trip. . .
It was just a spot on a map that seemed like a good distance into my riding day for a hot shower and nights rest. I'd started in Iowa City that morning and ridden through some gorgeous prairie and farm lands. Traveling through SD, there were times when I had to get off the bike just to take pictures of the sky. Parkston was Beautiful, and I'm glad I got the photo that eventually became this cut-out.
